Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress actor, comedian, activist) is a comedian. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and started her career shortly after emigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actress. Her fame was boosted by her appearances in AT&T television commercials as saleswoman Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and since 2020. In addition to her commercial appearances, she was also a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also starred in a recurring role as a character in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. After being cast in the TV pilot that was never aired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also plays Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and her fled antisemitism at the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. Due to the family's financial problems, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. But she dropped out of school after her sophomore years. She earned a GED and then went on to get a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. Vayntrub was a student of improv comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
